Every December 31st, millions of people around the world resolve to quit a bad habit like nail biting, eating junk food, drinking too much, or even procrastinating, but, by January 2nd, most people have already given up. In fact, only about 8 percent of those who make New Year’s resolutions actually keep them, according to the University of Scranton.
